Abstract

The article dwells on bullying by peers in schools as portrayed in the prolific writer Ray Bradbury’s story “All Summer in a Day”. The article unravels the mental torture suffered by an innocent student during her school life and the indifference of a teacher who refuses to see the obvious. The article explores the helplessness experienced by a student who is subject to oppression. However, Bradbury’s “All Summer in a Day” requires scientific corrections.
